Earlier this semester I went to the writing center for my Research Paper. We were in class when some writing fellows came to talk to the class about going to the writing center. They must have inspired me and some others so much that we went to the writing center right when they left. I knew that it was probably best to go ahead and go to the writing center for that paper instead of the one in the 4th quarter. At the time, I was so stressed out because of the projects we had to do with the essay. I knew that if I was going to go, this was definitely the best time.
When I got to the writing center, the writing fellows were very willing to help me. Before this meeting, I had not started my paper at all. I went to get some pointers on starting the writing. The central focus was starting and some tips about writing the paper. I was helped with transitions, quotations, and I was told not to be afraid to break up points into multiple paragraphs. This meeting with the writing fellow was very helpful when writing my paper. I used this information to make my essay flow much better and to make it sound better and more pleasing for the reader.
